The Hive SLC Logo

April

The Hive SLC
The Hive SLC is more than a business. It's an alive and evolving creative community. We specialize in growing artists locally by working with Utah Arts Alliance and other organizations in the community. The Hive SLC wants to provide a safe place for young artists to grow, learn, and possibly enter the tattoo industry. We offer community art nights with figure and portrait drawing workshops taught by college professors. Once a month we provide a "Create and Develop" collective where artists at any level can bring their projects and get honest, constructive, and kind feedback to their work. The Hive SLC is always looking for more opportunities to connect with other creative businesses and organizations, so please send us a message or stop by! Oh, by the way, we also do really great tattoos!

Dolphin Pools & Spas
Dolphin Pools and Spas, Inc. is a three-generation, family-owned business based in Millcreek servicing the Wasatch Front. Founded in 1953, Ted Ludlow together with his son Don Ludlow built their reputation as Utah’s premier custom pool builder. Today, under the leadership of Jeff Ludlow, the legacy of Dolphin Pools lives on. Our portfolio of expertly constructed pools and spas each reflect the decades of experience and level of expertise that our pools are known for. We believe that we can attribute the success of Dolphin Pools to our incredible team that continue to put quality, reputation and customer satisfaction above everything else. Millcreek Business of the Month Application

Please read carefully – before submitting your application!

Millcreek Business Council proudly hosts the Business of the Month award to connect our community with its leaders! We want to learn about you – what makes your business unique, what lessons have you learned that may help others, and how do you give back (i.e. community service, civic engagement, events, fundraisers, local sponsorships, etc.)? We invite you to think of this application as less of a “sales pitch” for your products – and more of a legacy builder. If a statue was built in your honor, what would the plaque say? Have fun with it… and find us on Instagram @MillcreekBusinessCouncil to view past recipients for inspiration! Questions: please contact BusinessCouncil@millcreek.us.

UMCA Sponsorship

Utah Municipal Clerks Association Sponsorship Opportunity

The Utah Municipal Clerks Association (UMCA) is a professional organization that provides educational and networking support for City Recorders and Town Clerks working all over the state. This fall, the UMCA is hosting a regional conference (Utah, Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming) in Park City. They are looking for silent auction donations that could benefit attendees from any state. All proceeds go towards the UMCA scholarship fund which enables recorders and clerks to attend conferences that otherwise do not have the budget to do so. These conferences are especially helpful to those new to the position or from small cities and towns. Thank you for your consideration. Please contact Elyse Sullivan, Millcreek City Recorder, at esullivan@millcreek.us for more information.
