Ark Insurance Solutions: November 2021

Rebecca Yates started Ark Insurance in 2010 based on her desire to focus not solely on the dollar, but to put individuals and clients first. It is this founding principle that has helped make Ark Insurance Solutions LLC the most trusted resource for affordable health insurance in the greater Salt Lake City, Utah area. We participate with initiatives that will make our clients lives better, previously including the Utah Independent Business Coalition and the Alumni Board at Westminster College. Currently we are advocating for our community through the Utah All Copays Count Coalition and are actively working to implement legislation that will ensure our members receive the care they need. Rebecca also participates on the CMS Broker Advisory group where she meets with CMS monthly, and participates in think tanks and committees to improve health insurance on a federal level as well.

Palleti: December 2021

Established in 2004, Paletti has continued to present the very best of independent clothing
and accessory designers from Europe, Asia, and the USA. Our goal is to dress the well-traveled woman who seeks quality in fabric and simplicity in design to create an independent style that will withstand time and trends. Whether you are looking for a new wardrobe or a few key pieces we look forward to
giving each customer a unique and personalized shopping experience. Clothing is a way to say who you are without having to speak.  It has the ability to level a playing field and give you instant credibility, as well as self-confidence; clothing can open doors to enhance your career.

Paletti is dedicated to giving back to those that need our help.  We have held fundraisers for female artists who have been hurt financially during covid when they could not show or sell their work. We help the YWCA with Candy Cane Lane each year, giving Christmas to the children of women that have been taken out of abusive situations. We donate clothes to women trying to get back into the workforce, giving them the ability to look professional when interviewing and starting new jobs. We created the Highland Drive Business Alliance to recognize and give a voice to businesses along Highland Drive and the wonderful local small businesses that call this street home.

Millcreek Business of the Month Application

Please read carefully – before submitting your application!

Millcreek Business Council proudly hosts the Business of the Month award to connect our community with its leaders! We want to learn about you – what makes your business unique, what lessons have you learned that may help others, and how do you give back (i.e. community service, civic engagement, events, fundraisers, local sponsorships, etc.)? We invite you to think of this application as less of a “sales pitch” for your products – and more of a legacy builder. If a statue was built in your honor, what would the plaque say? Have fun with it… and find us on Instagram @MillcreekBusinessCouncil to view past recipients for inspiration! Questions: please contact BusinessCouncil@millcreek.us.
