Business Council Spring Service Project

Give back to Millcreek by helping clean up the Big Cottonwood wetland & pond. We will be weeding out the invasive species and planting new spring flowers.

When: Saturday, May 18
Time: 8 a.m. - 10 a.m.
Where: Big Cottonwood wetland & pond (4651 South 1500 East)

What to bring: A water bottle, gloves & a shovel. Be sure to wear long pants and close-toed shoes to protect your body.

Backyard GardenShare

The Millcreek Business Council Promise Support Committee is teaming up with Backyard GardenShare in an effort to grow support of this wonderful program throughout our Millcreek community.

Backyard GardenShare connects backyard garden surplus with local families, refugees, and immigrants. A simple action of sharing surplus homegrown vegetables and fruit can help fight hunger and give access to fresh produce to many.
There are many ways you can become involved with this effort – plant a few extra veggies in your garden, distribute collected produce, be a drop-off location for fresh crops, help harvest the gardens in your area. Local residents and businesses alike can help.

We would love to have your support to grow our community! Please fill out this survey and let us know how you would like to be involved. We will connect with you promptly and get growing together!

Millcreek Job Fair

Are you looking for a new job? Are you looking for new employees? Join the Millcreek Business Council for a Job Fair. This free event will allow employers and job-seekers to meet face-to-face with the possibility of being hired on the spot.

MILLCREEK BOGOS

Millcreek BOGOS (Buy-One-Get-One-Free Deals) is a new addition to the website of the Millcreek Business Council, an official auxiliary of the new city of Millcreek. It is a great place for Millcreek residents and visitors alike to find deals at some of their favorite Millcreek restaurants, shops, and services!

WHO CAN POST A BOGO? Any licensed business in Millcreek is eligible AT NO CHARGE, although there is a limit to one deal per business per quarter. Join Tres Hombres, Provisions, The Baking Hive, Rawtopia, C. Kay Cummings Chocolates, Maria’s Mexican Grill, and more!

HOW DO THE CUSTOMERS USE THE COUPON? They can print them off and cut them out, or just show it on their phone at purchase.

WHAT IS THE STANDARD “FINE PRINT” ON EACH COUPON? Expiration date for the deal would be the last day of the quarter, limited one coupon per party per visit. Other “fine print” can be dictated by the business, such as restrictions of certain days, hours, or menu items.

MUST THE DEAL BE A BOGO? Yes. Please make the deal buy-one-get-one of equal or lesser value (i.e., buy one dessert, get one free; buy one pedicure, get one free; etc.)

WHEN WILL THIS START? The first group of Millcreek BOGOS will run from July 1-Sep. 30.

HOW WILL THIS BE PROMOTED? In addition to being listed on the Millcreek Business Council website, Millcreek BOGOS will be promoted through city and business council social media channels, as well as through Millcreek’s newsletter and weekly e-newsletter.
