Astro Way Storm Drain Improvement Project

Project Overview

We plan to install a brand-new stormwater infrastructure along Astro Way toward Gilroy Road to improve the drainage system and reduce flooding risks in the area. The project aims to strengthen and expand the existing storm drain system to handle heavy rainfall, helping Millcreek manage flooding concerns more effectively.

Millcreek will notify residents in the affected area before the construction schedule. Residents can expect the following during the project:

• Construction activities will occur during daytime hours, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Increased noise, dust, and vibration in the area
• Intermittent road closures and traffic shifts
• Temporary driveway closures for residents directly impacted
• Staging of construction equipment, materials, and traffic control
